Made-to-measure guided cycling tours in and around the D-Day Beaches
We do guided, made-to-measure small group tours around the D-Day beaches in Normandy. The tours are typically 3 or 4 days long but if you want to do more it's entirely up to you. There are plenty of cycling companies that just give you a map and leave to your own devices but we do the opposite. Just let us know what you have in mind, how far you want to go and what you would like to achieve and we'll do the rest. If you want to cruise along the Vélomaritime D-Day route on an e-bike or do something a little racier on the region's beautiful, smooth roads - we'll come up with a suggested plan and a guide for your adventure. Since we started ‘World at My Cleats’ the world has changed and we have changed with it. As well as our normal prescribed staple along "the beaches", we focus heavily on customised tours according to our customer's requirements. Everyone wants a unique experience and that is exactly what they will get with us according to their levels of cycling ability, desired comfort, nutritional requirements and non-cycling activities etc. For example, you might not necessarily want a guide or you might want to take a day off in between journey legs. Our tours tend to be smaller groups of say 3-4 riders as opposed to a 10-person peloton breaking records in Suisse Normandie. There is such a lot of variety to be experienced in Normandy and we don’t want you to miss any of it. If you want to do something other than cycling the beaches tell us what you want to do, and we will tailor a tour for you and your group.
Our set-up, flexibility, local knowledge and expertise also enable us to build a tour for your group from the ground up. Nothing can beat the special bond that can be built through sharing unique cycling experiences with close friends, colleagues or family members. The camaraderie and general bonhomie that a great well-organised tour can deliver is second to none and we aim at delivering something slightly different for each and every group that we look after.

As you might well imagine, the whole customised-tour creation process takes time. We have the knowledge and expertise, but delivering your perfect dream trip also requires research and legwork. To start the whole process, you should give us as much as possible about ideal trip… mileage, etc… this can be done through our online tour form.
Once we have your basic requirements, we can design a trip that is built for you and your fellow riders to ensure that everyone gets the most out of it. Depending on personal preferences, we can supply a range of bikes, whether e-bikes or unassisted, mtbs or road bikes. We do two standard guided tours - 3 or 4 days, but if you want any changes we will be happy to customise the itinerary for you and your group
